Dr. Riann Smit completed his MBChB degree in 2013 from Medunsa University. In 2015, he completed his internship at Tygerberg Hospital, followed by his community service for health professionals at Swartland Hospital in Malmesbury in 2016. Dr. Smit worked at the Free State Department of Neurosurgery as a registrar at Universitas Academic Hospital from 2019 until 2022, after which he decided to pursue his passion for general medicine. Since 2022, Dr. Riann Smit has been practicing as a general practitioner with a special interest in surgery and holistic patient care.
