Celebrating Eye Care Awareness Month at Cue Day Hospital Wilgheuwel.

Eye Care Awareness Month: September 21 – October 18, 2024

Cure Day Hospitals Wilgeheuwel recently celebrated Eye Care Awareness Month, a time dedicated to highlighting the importance of eye health and the impact it has on our lives. This year, we took a significant step in making a difference by providing cataract surgeries to patients who would not normally have the means to afford this life-changing procedure.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Dr Irene Freed and Dr Susanne Smith, ophthalmologists from Visusense Ophthalmologists, whose expertise and dedication made this initiative a resounding success. Their commitment to restoring vision and improving the quality of life for our patients is truly inspiring.

Throughout Eye Care Awareness Month, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups and the availability of treatments for various eye conditions. By doing so, we hope to encourage more people to take proactive steps in maintaining their eye health.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this venture possible, and to our community for supporting our efforts. Together, we can continue to bring the gift of sight to those in need.
