Removal of warts
A technique used to burn or remove warts on around the genital area.
Removal of mole
Surgical excision of a lipoma, i.e. benign, soft tumour of fatty tissue.
Biopsy of the cervix
Lletz refers to the biopsy of the cervix in which a cone-shaped sample of tissue is removed from the mucous membrane. It is commonly performed after an abnormal PAP smear.
Uterus treatment
A surgical procedure in which the cervix is expanded using a dilator and the uterine lining scraped with a curette, performed for the diagnosis and treatment of various uterine conditions.
Cyst drainage
The Bartholin gland is situated in the Labia Majora. When a cyst forms, it often has to be surgically drained.
Uterus lining treatment
This procedure is performed to destroy the uterine lining to prevent excessive or prolonged menstruation.

View inside of the uterus
A procedure to look at the inside of the uterus (womb) using a small telescope (hysteroscope). Various procedures can then be performed, i.e. removal of septae, taking of tissue for pathologicsl examination etc.

Laparoscopy, during which a tumour/cyst, usually on the ovaries is removed.
Laparoscopic removal of scar tissue (lysis of adhesions)
Surgical removal of an ectopic pregnancy in a fallopian tube section done through a small incision (button hole) using laparoscopy.
