A huge congratulations to the entire team at Cure Day Hospitals Foreshore on achieving an outstanding 96% in the recent COHSASA audit.
This is more than just a number — it represents the dedication, teamwork and commitment of every person who contributes to the care and experience of our patients.
But what does a COHSASA audit actually mean?
COHSASA — the Council for Health Service Accreditation of Southern Africa — assesses healthcare facilities against rigorous standards for quality and patient safety. An external team evaluates the facility and its systems to see how well it meets these standards and where there are opportunities to improve.
For our community, this means that behind the scenes, there is a structured focus on things such as patient safety, quality of care, clinical processes, governance, infection prevention, staff practices and the systems that support a safe healthcare environment.
Cure Day Hospitals Foreshore remains committed to delivering excellent, safe and compassionate care to our community, and to continually striving for better outcomes for every patient we have the privilege of caring for.
Well done to the entire Foreshore team on this fantastic achievement!
