Dr Jansen obtained her MBChB with distinction from the University of Pretoria in 2016. She subsequently completed her internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and her community service at Pretoria West Hospital. She completed her specialist training in Ophthalmology through the University of the Witwatersrand and the College of Medicine of South Africa. Furthermore, she achieved the highest national result in Ophthalmology in 2025, reflecting her dedication to academic and clinical excellence.
