Cure Paarl welcomes Dr Norman Nieder-Heitmann

Dr Norman Nieder-Heitmann is an Ophthalmologist working at Paarl Eye Centre with Dr Roland Berry. Their practise number is 021 871 1368.
Norman obtained his medical degree in 2007 from the University of Stellenbosch where after he worked in Windhoek, Madwaleni and Worcester in general medicine.
He spent 3 years as a medical officer in Ophthalmology in the Eastern Free State where he completed his diploma in Ophthalmology. In 2018 he completed his specialist training in Ophthalmology (FCOphth SA) at the University of Cape Town. He’s currently doing an additional post-graduate year of vitreo-retinal surgical training at Groote Schuur Academic Hospital.
Norman enjoys spending as much time possible with his wife, Anina, and his two children, Katrien and Jannas. If there’s any time left, you will find him in the ocean surfing or spearfishing.
