On the 26th of March 2022, eight pro-bono cases were performed on children that were in desperate need of dental treatment. On 25 April 2022, Dr P Albertyn (ENT) and Prof F Smith (Anaesthetist) performed a removal of a granuloma on the right ear on a 5-year-old patient from Jacaranda Children’s Home.
On the 21st of July 2022, Cure Day Hospitals Medkin performed free dental surgery on 15 children from Smile of Joy Children’s Home that were in desperate need of dental treatment.
