Dr. Etienne Maritz, an orthopaedic surgeon, performed the first total knee replacement at Cure Day Hospitals Montana.
Mrs Irene Botha had the following to say about her experience:
“On the 14th of October 2025, I was warmly welcomed at Cure Day Hospitals Montana. The admission process was smooth and stress-free, and I couldn’t help but notice how inviting the coffee station looked for those not there for a procedure!
I was personally handed over to a nurse who took me through to the ward and made sure I was settled in comfortably. That personal touch really stood out — it gave me such a sense of genuine care and TLC.
Even though I was there for a total knee replacement, I felt surprisingly calm and relaxed. Having gone through the same operation on my right knee four months earlier, I knew what to expect, but Sr. Tanya’s warm presence and friendly reassurance made all the difference. She made me feel completely confident in the hospital and its staff.
A special thank you to my orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Ettiene Maritz, for recommending Cure Day Hospitals Montana. I can honestly say I highly recommend them to anyone needing surgery or a medical procedure — you’ll be in wonderful hands.
After my procedure, I was transferred to Nurture for overnight observation, and the care there was just as excellent as in the hospital itself.
Thank you to all the staff and management who made me feel like a VIP, not just another patient with a number on a chart. Your kindness and professionalism made my experience truly special.”
