Dr Donée van Rooyen is an obstetrician-gynaecologist who is proficient and competent in the management of gynaecological conditions, related surgical procedures, as well as obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound. She has a special interest in sexual trauma and treatment thereof as well as the caution, sensitivity and privacy that comes with it.
She earned her bachelor’s (MBChB) degree from the University of Pretoria and a master’s (MMed) from Stellenbosch University.
Her interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology was piqued during her internship at Potchefstroom Hospital and deepened during her community service at the same hospital.
