Dr Magdel Putter is a passionate Ophthalmologist and enjoys managing a wide spectrum of medical and surgical eye conditions. She started her career in Ophthalmology in 2012 at Kimberley hospital where she obtained her Diploma in Ophthalmology. She did her specialist training at the University of Stellenbosch and worked at Tygerberg Hospital to gain further experience in corneal conditions. She was a full-time specialist Ophthalmologist at Paarl Hospital and started working part-time at Paarl Eye Centre with Drs Berry and Nieder-Heitmann in 2023. Dr. Putter has performed high-volume cataract surgeries and has a special interest in glaucoma and anterior segment eye conditions.
