Dr Nick Brits is a specialist Urologist who provides thorough and personalised care for a wide range of urological conditions. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the best urological care possible based on the latest scientific evidence, and he works hard to do so while still maintaining a warm and friendly office atmosphere.
Dr Brits, originally from KwaZulu Natal, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2011.
After completing his internship at the Pietermaritzburg Hospital, he moved to Johannesburg to continue his community service training at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.
He worked as a medical officer at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and subsequently specialized in Urology at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits).
Dr Brits received his Master’s in Medicine (MMed) and was admitted as a Fellow of the South Africa College of Urologists (FCUrol) in 2022.
Throughout his career in the public sector, Dr Brits was dedicated to serving his patients as well as introducing new ideas to enhance the efficiency of state healthcare. He is an Honorary Consultant at the University of Witwatersrand and is actively involved in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching and training in the field of Urology.
