Dr Nishat Thokan is a qualified Otorhinolaryngologist (Ear Nose & Throat surgeon). She completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Dr Thokan then went on to complete her postgraduate training and obtained her Master’s degree in Otorhinolaryngology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
She passed her fellowship exam in ENT -FCORL(SA) from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA) with distinction.
Dr Thokan has a special interest in paediatric and adult breathing difficulties, sinus conditions and allergic conditions affecting the sinuses. She is passionate about treating her patients holistically and is well trained to manage all Ear, Nose and Throat conditions.
