Dr Pieter Marais is a Specialist General Surgeon with extensive experience in laparoscopic, endocrine, trauma, gynaecological and vascular access surgery. A University of Pretoria graduate, he completed his surgical fellowship at WITS and further specialised in endocrine surgery under Prof Russel Britz. With international surgical experience and ongoing advanced training, Dr Marais also serves as an ATLS instructor and has held leadership roles in motorsport medical panels.
