Dr Emil Vusi Ndlovu is a dedicated general surgeon with a passion for providing exceptional healthcare. Born and raised in the small township of Nkowankowa in Limpopo, Dr Ndlovu embarked on a journey towards a career in medicine after graduating from Bankuna High School. He pursued and successfully obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the esteemed Medical University of Southern Africa (MEDUNSA) in 2003.
Following the completion of his medical degree, Dr Ndlovu embarked on a twelve-month internship at Elim Hospital, followed by a year of fulfilling community service at Dr C.N. Phatudi Hospital. During this time, he discovered his profound interest in general surgery, which led him to join the Surgery department at Polokwane Mankweng Hospital Complex in 2006.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and expertise, Dr Ndlovu enrolled in a Master’s degree program in General Surgery in 2009, under the guidance of the esteemed Prof MCM Modiba. Despite the unfortunate passing of Prof Modiba in 2011, Dr Ndlovu persevered under the new mentorship of Prof ZM Koto and successfully completed his Master’s degree from the College of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA) in 2013. In 2014, he further enhanced his qualifications by completing the research component of his studies, resulting in the attainment of two Master’s degrees in General Surgery.
Dr Ndlovu’s commitment to providing holistic healthcare is evident in his approach to patient care. He is known for his exceptional surgical skills, compassionate demeanour, and dedication to improving the health and well-being of his patients.
