With 27 years of experience in private practice, Dr Jansen van Vuuren is a highly skilled general surgeon specialising in advanced laparoscopic surgery, with a particular focus on colorectal procedures. He obtained his MBChB and MMed (Chir) degrees, as well as his FCS (SA), and completed his studies at the University of the Free State (Kovsies).
Dr Jansen van Vuuren has further enhanced his expertise through international training in laparoscopic bariatric surgery in Belgium and France, laparoscopic colorectal and digestive surgery in Strasbourg, France, and laparoscopic inguinal and incisional hernia training at Mount Sinai in New York.
