Whole Mouth Health is just as important as General Health. If you intend to live a healthy life, maintaining your teeth and gums should be done with the same regularity as eating the correct food and getting exercise. The basics for this is to brush and floss daily, and visit your Oral Hygienist every six months. To neglect this basics will result in tooth loss, but even worse is the effect on General Wellbeing (as discovered by the World Health Organisation as recently as 7 years ago!) On the adjacent chart you will see that serious systematic disease can originate from inadequate oral care that can lead to a low quality life, and even early death. Please contact your nearest Health advisor (nurse or doctor) who can point you in the right direction. The Good news is: It is never too Late!!! You can lead a Healthy Happy life with and for your family and colleagues.
